Hi,
At work at Margate Hospital, 1100 patient no show so far, had a coffee, shifted some paperwork,
now relaxing.
It is a gorgeous sunny day, bit of a breeze but it is lovely, they do say it here for the rest of the week, I do hope so.

What is it like where you are today, nice I hope?

FF, Tash is away, getting ready for bed. Yes it is Dave a good few people on AB know me off AB as that. She has two laptops, a work one which is only ever used on secure NHS Sites for work only. Her own laptop can be logged into so called Hospital Wifi which can be used by patients and visitors alike, the password to which is widely advertised all over the hospital so no...

I thought the NHS was stretched beyond capacity ?
You mean the QEQM? Are you not remotely bothered about using your photo as your avatar and revealing where you work, on a public forum?

Anyway its misty here and I'm recovering (badly) from a flu jab I had yesterday so don't mind being inside today.
quite a pleasant day here in Edinburgh Tashi xx
Sparkly That's what I was thinking. One no show and you have 30 minutes to spare? Must be Private sector ha ha

SK, I run a Clinic, patients are normally seen for about 1½ hours at a time, you can only ring the next booked and see if they can come in early, in this case the next booking is for 1400, they delined.
ah, you must be in the South East!
I initially read the post as 1,100 patients had failed to show so far today. That was a bit of a shock!

I am not really awake this morning.
I read it the same, Wolf.
tashi, can you not ring the patient after the next booked and so on?

Woofgang, the Receptionist does exactly that, today they said No, can not do anything about that.
What sort of clinic is it where there is an apparent lack of patients.
Tashi...don't fret...if a patient cannot be bothered to turn up or cancel, then it is not your problem.
Take 300 mins off.
It must be frustrating when people don't turn up for appointments. My GP's surgery usually posts the missed appointment figures in the waiting room.

I have missed a couple of appointments over the years but not intentionally.
30 mins.......OR ....300 if you want...LOL
The weather where i am Tashi is cloudy but dry (thankfully) although floor is wet from damn callum over the weekend.
