Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Now that you have been told the answer do you enter the competition ? I fail to understand how you could get the answer to question 2 but not the answer to question 1.

YES ITS OAKHAM school is uppingham, and the other question answer is a great day out lovely place of interest fresh air and glorious country views. glad you do this quiz, its fun tracking down location and will always get some help on Answer Bank

I totally fail to see how being told the answer is getting help.What fun can it be ?

Surely getting help would be further explaining a clue or even pointing to a general area of the country.

Are not those who give away answers spoiling it for the vast majority of us who do have fun solving competitions like this and crosswords without cheating?

If one cannot solve a particular clue immediately why not do as I do and struggle with it,and if I can not solve it then see the answer when it is published.

I am sure that it is much more fun and satisfying getting an answer after a few days thought than it is to cheat .

You're right about this, old_labour. That competition is not the same as the crosswords that we help each other with on AB where there are many answers and you might be stuck on one or two. Just giving the answer to the competition is not right - people should give clues (we did that recently and people eventually solved the problem - much more fun!).

In this case though, clarita did say that they had two possible answers (but didn't give them).
