I came across an odd item the other day in an old book I was reading. It was a compliment slip from the Competition Editor of Pearson's Weekly addressed to one M. J. Tunney.

Consolation Prize in "House Names" Contest No. 33.

Your Winning Name-- Cook's House: "Pangasley".

Can anyone make any sense ot it? Please advise.

Bit difficult without knowing the content of the competition

Yes, it is Danny but I thought one of you Bletchley Park gang would come up with something!
Is it perhaps the address name of a cook's house? Nothing on Google.
