Yes, I had these answers, but could not parse them! Now, I got it!
Now, any help with how to go about this part? At least, some help with 3 out of the six!

Six answers are undefined and can be treated similarly to get six new words, all of a kind.The introductions can be arranged to give a seventh word of the same kind.

Depends how much of a clue you want - change something in each one - then use those changes to make another word.

Thanks very much, but I am still at a loss. I understand the two you gave me (16a BLUR and 34a BLOWN - BLURB and CLOWN ). For 2d, 7d and 28d ( PREEN, PICA, and EMBER ), I've come up wit: SCREEN, PICTURE and MEMBER. Are these correct? I am still struggling with 26a MARION. Please help with answers and a parsing, please! Sorry for imposing and thanks again in advance!

I have been trying hard, but am still bewildered! Is 7d (PICA ) incorrect? To put me out of my misery, could you give me any two of the new words so I can have a clearer idea of exactly what to do? This is all so new to me!
