beta, zeta?
Possibly 'Zeta' - 'Z' et 'A' - the complete Greek alphabet from Z to A. Just a thought.
I know beta (or zeta) is a Greek characters but I don't understand the rest of the clue. Are you sure of the letters? Could it something ending in US like Zeus?

Thanks folks ..yes Factor the letters are correct and I'm sure the answer has to be one or the other I also thought of Meta
Maybe even feta, or is that answer too cheesy?
Thought WE may be in there
Far too cheesy :o)
Taking the 1st word in the clue and interpreting it as meaning all of the alphabetical characters, I would still go with 'Zeta' as it gives the first and (et) last Greek characters.
abba?
Forget ABBA,
Question Author
Yes I think I'll stay with ZETA thanks for your help.
If it is Z ET A I'm puzzled by the ET since that is Latin (rather than Greek) for AND
Has dannyk or scorpiojo seen this?
Has anyone else got any thoughts on this?
Hera? ...Greek goddess
Thanks Tilly. none of the answers given so far seem to fit all aspects of the clue
I know, factor. I just thought I'd throw in another word. :-)
Maybe Bibblebub's feta is right. The characters could be F and Eta. I suppose you could say the same for B+eta and Z + eta though.

It's the "to you and me" bit that's puzzling me. I know people say "It's all Greek to me" but they don't normally say "...to you and me" do they?

The Greek word for all doesn't help either
Meua is a place in Spain. (No help at all, that!)
Absolutely no idea
