Stuck on the last one. 12 down Universal language may put all in the picture. Presuming that I have 12 across correct the letters I have are P?S?G?A?H? I know the G is correct as it is a quote from Sinclair Lewis and I am pretty sure the S and the A are as well. I have PEEL for 12 across (protective covering much appeciated by Jim Dixon - Lucky Jim who ended up with a Mrs Peel) but I could be barking up the wrong tree! Can anyone throw any light on the subject?

Many thanks Bibblebub and Shoota - I have never heard of it and thought my first letter must be wrong!
12a:

Margaret Peel is a secondary character in the Kingsley Amis novel Lucky Jim. The main character is James ‘Jim’ Dixon and Margaret serves as his love interest until he leaves her and moves away with Christine Callaghan. Margaret is a rather tragic figure throughout until the end when a much darker side to her character is revealed.

................Is she a Mrs.?
