Yes, a real slog today but I managed it without ODQ (of which I have a rather old edition). Very testing but enjoyable on the whole & cleverly constructed.

Yes, the quote doesn't appear in my 2011 paperback edition, either. Interesting man, it would seem, judging by the poem this is taken from --- very controversial at the time.
