Stuck on two this week - 2 down shallow stemmed glass dish in which chilled fruit desserts or champagne are served. I think this should be Flute but it doesn't fit with LeCarre as 1 across. I have C?U?E
36 down belt similar to the Japanese obi. I have D?S?

Any help gratefully received!

What was the clue that gave LeCarre?
Coupe, champagne glass
sash?
Thanks, sandy- I hadn't heard of a COUPE and thought FLUTE seemed okay
Sash is right - across answer 'ace of spades'
36 down I think is sash, because 35 across is spades
I think it's SASH, because 35 across is SPADES

Thanks folk - if I could read my own writing it would help - I read the"S" of spades as a "D"!!! Finished now.
