Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I don't understand this.

Are the linked answers the musical scale? Do, Re, Mi...etc

If so, Clue 12A should include 'So', not 'La' shouldn't it? What am I missing?

10a has 'so' & 'fa' (in reverse order), so 12a's 'la' is ok

Don't have it to hand any more but it may be the solution includes both so and la?? Certainly at least one clue had two in it

I've said it before - I wish people would stop wanting the Grauniad compilers to make sense! They have rules of their own & frankly (IMO, of course) have yet to come up with an enjoyable crossword between them - Araucaria is the prime culprit, the others just copy his "style"...

...I do the Saturday puzzle so that I can answer Q's on AB, but always make it the last one I look at, knowing it'll be boring & tedious.
