3d: Nosh swallowed by good French cookery writer. I have ?E?T?N. It looks like "BEETON" although the clue leads to "BEATON". Any ideas?

Setter can't spell BEETON maybe
nosh = eat; good = "bon" in French, hence Beaton
It looks like an error confirmed by Big Dave

The Setter has the wrong Spelling for Mrs Beeton
