(c) inque - s-t (songstress timidly) ?
Sorry, (c) inq and u,e,s,t are the "starts"
The singer could be TIT. That would leave WOB- BOW backwards. Is BOW a front? (bow window?)
19d) (c)INQ + initial letters of Undaunted Eurovision Songstress Timidly
I parsed two bit yesterday

front of boat - bow (reversed/lifted) - WOB
singer (bird) - TIT T WOB IT
FF - the bow of a ship
