and 18 across Back story that's read out(4) if its TAIL dont quite get it!

18a sounds like tale
Tail sounds like tale
Tail sounds like 'tale' (story) when it's read out.
I went for hustled
I'd go for Hustled

I think 41a is bustled, after all if you rush about you 'bustle'? Hustling is being pushy isn't it?
