My father is a master plumber and I work for him. He somehow gets a contract to refurbish the palace of a gangster, or a political figure,-it's not clear- on an island in the eastern Mediterranean. When the work is almost completed they fall out and my father sabotages the jacuzzi so that the water will suddenly run scalding hot and its occupants will be boiled alive.
His plan works only too well and the gangster/politician with all his family perish. But there's a hue and cry raised and we have to escape. The police at the seaports and airports are alerted so we steal two microlite planes to make our escape.
We're high in the sky over the white capped waves when I become blinded by the sun. Disorientated, and unused to flying, I stall my microlite and begin falling towards the sea far below. As I tumble I see in the distance my father flying off to safety.
I always wake before I actually hit the sea and I'm always soaked in sweat.
What does this mean?

Stop eating cheese before going to bed?
wow Sandy it means you should write a book
Woofy is right, that has the makings of a great story. Eat more cheese before bed :)
It could symbolize an underlying fear that if things one day go wrong you will be left to face the problem on your own. I think that it is probably unlikely but in our dreams we cope with our worse nightmares. Why not have a few microlight lessons just in case?
The ending's a bit like the Daedalus and Icarus story.
there's a certain Daedalian echo there, isn't there...

To dream that you are sabotaging something or someone indicates that an overwhelming anxiety is threatening the boundary between your subconscious and your ego. You are feeling conflicted between right and wrong. Alternatively, the dream means that you need to get rid of your old attitudes and former ways of thinking

To dream that water is boiling suggests that you are expressing some emotional turmoil. Feelings from your subconscious are surfacing and ready to be acknowledged. You need to let out some steam.

To dream that you are blind represents your refusal to see the truth or your lack of awareness to a problem. Perhaps you are rejecting something about yourself or your situation. Are you refusing to see any other point of view except your own? Consider the pun, "turning a blind eye".
To dream that you fall and are frightened indicates a lack of control, insecurity, and/or lack of support in your waking life. You may be experiencing some major struggle and/or overwhelming problem. It may also imply that you have failed to achieve a goal that you have set forth for yourself.

sounds like the plot to the next Bond movie!

Seriously, it seems like you'd like to do more - get promotion perhaps, but you sabotage your own efforts due to lack of confidence (Stalling the microlite) you wake up as things stay the same.

Try winding down before bed, warm drink (Not alcohol!) warm shower or bath, listen to a relaxing tape - you are more likely to lucid dreams if you haven't 'switched off' properly and aren't relaxed. Sweet dreams

What does this mean?"
Well, what it means Sandy, in layman's terms, is that it is a figment of your unconsciousness emerging itself into a comatose condition of half-awareness and resulting in a dream state which also happens to wet.......Herummmph.
