Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

The good news is that, after two disastrous weeks (barely more that two thirds completed), this week's has restored my confidence. But the really bad news is that I am in serious trouble at school and, more importantly, with my mother because (they say) my school work has suffered because I spend so much time doing the crosswords. Maybe they are right. They certainly made me promise that I would stop doing them until my exams are safely out of the way. So this is, for the time being, goodbye. But it is also a huge thank to all who showed me how to do these crosswords, especially Lie-in-King and Bibblebub who are just SO good, not only in doing them, but showing how the logic works. Without them I would not have had so much pleasure out of solving the puzzles and I have had buckets full. Thank you again!!!

That's crazy - so is it ok for someone to watch all the soaps, read crappy magazines etc and go to school? Yet crosswords that make you combine logic with your knowledge, obviously something that you enjoy, and also stretches your capabilities is suddenly making your schoolwork suffer?

You seem to have taken this well, though, so listen to your mother! Noone knows you better than her x

Well, she would agree with you about soaps etc. That's why she doesn't allow me to watch them...

Hi Steven - your exams are without doubt more important than the crosswords! You never know though, something you've picked up from them might crop up in the hall...

I wish you all the best with them & hope to see you back on AB with a hatful of A*s (is that the best mark these days?) & a little more time for the puzzles!

Well Steven - of course Mum knows best but in truth as long as the crosswords are not keeping you from your studies, they are a great way to use and keep the grey matter fresh.
