Strange crossword this week, or is it me. Most of what I've got I can't really explain, but they fit.

14d Label on box of tablets below with a faint pattern (9) - - T - R - - K Looks like WATERMARK, but....
If it is WATERMARK 13a Fellow campaigning to stop endless spin E - W - R - Should be EDWARD but.....
2 d Bethe's successo set about that fellow from the East End (5) G - M - L Lokks like GEMEL, but....
