Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I'm used to early starts for work anyway so it is not the end of the world. I had Romy sitting with me on the sofa as I was doing Mephisto this morning. I'm hoping she will soon be better than her Dad at crosswording.

Nice to get another glimpse into your domestic life, DJA -- and thanks of course! Do you know the hidden subject this week? I mean, are you familiar with it (not "Will you please reveal it?" of course!)? Nearly finished but not quite.............................

@whatsthat: If by "theme" you mean title, translate 9d.

I found all the unclued lights except 28d without having to refer to Brewer. I turned to Brewer for 28d, only to discover that my edition does not include it. Most frustrating! Would someone be so kind as to give me the unchecked letters?

Many thanks, Neveracrossword! Wikepedia has a long list for 9d, but 28d does not appear in it, which made me feel slightly better about not knowing it.
