Many thanks mm
and thanks from me too :o)
many thanks
Thanks as always mintyman.

Not as many anagrams as the usual Dumpynose offering.
18 A. Nobody hoarding coins has rhubarb (8) ??ns???a
(I originally thought this was an anagram of 'coins has', but didn't get anywhere)
6 D. Yellow plant and rush withered (8,hyphenated) ?????e??
Any tips, suggestions would be gratefully received.
Nical your A is wrong in 18a! . Think rubbish for rhubarb.

6d Run fast + burn
Kaya...-thanks. Have got 18 now and have fixed 16 D. Am away to have another go at 6 D.
Thanks, mintyman.
Many thanks for the link.
Thanks mintyman99 - phew! that was a bit harder than the last few!
35D very neat once you spot the avian reference. Never heard of it before.
I must have found this harder than everyone else - I've only just finished!
You're ahead of me Nical. I thought that once I had the quotation it would be simple. But alas no, I need help on 37a(7) See Queen riding unknown horse, warped under the tail H?P?RA? and 23d (4) Welshman (old) rearing young(4) O?E?
With these done I hopefully can wrap it up.. Thanks
37a hypural

23d Owen
Thanks kaya
I don't know if anyone is following this any more but if they are could they help me put it to bed. 'Two unclued lights combine to give a letter mixture of the answer (two words)' I've got WAL? for 26a and D?C?LE for 30d which looks like Wall or Walk and Docile but how do we know the answer to the question. I've even looked up the original poem (no 18) I presume Reading goal is the thematic location. Right?
Anagram of the two clues will give you a name connected with Reading Gaol!
Thanks again kaya. Now I can go and watch Hidden!
26a is war? (not wal?)
