It is a new word you have made up, and was first used on the Answerbank website about 2 minutes ago.
I think you will find its a spelling mistake and should read GLOBALIST.
It could be gobbiest. Someone with a big gob who talks a lot.
you seem unsure of the spelling... maybe if you could use it in a sentence?
Well, a gobi is a cabbage in Hindi, a goby is a type of aquarium fish and the Gobi is a desert in central Asia. So, a gobiast could - just about conceivably - be a vegetable specialist-cook in an Indian restaurant, a fan of the particular fish-species or an expert on that desert!
On the other hand, as already suggested, you may have got the spelling wrong, Jenny, as you spell it in two different ways within your query.

Question! My spelling of the word globaist was indeend spelled wrong in one of my questions. The word i want an answer to is GLOBAIST. Sorry foi the spelling
There is no word globaist, Jenny, so I suspect - as Catron suggested earlier - that you mean global ist. A globalist is someone who is sensitive to global (world-side) issues and tries to promote this international viewpoint to others.
I hope that fits in the context in which you found the word.
In my response above, globalist should be all one word. I've no idea where the gap came from and I should have typed worldw and not worldside!!
The only examples of 'globaist' found by a well-known search engine are 1) three instances of 'globalist' misspelt
2) part of the name of a website, possibly one created for those who type 'globaist' when trying to type 'globalist' in the address of what may be the same organisation
3) a link to our own dear Answerbank and this very question ! :)

QM is right again (not that that was in doubt)
why don't you tell us the meaning.
gosh, Quizmonster is really smart!
Well...I've got several very good dictionaries, Sara! But thank you for your kind comment, ma'am.
