Shower trouble

The pull cord that controls our shower appears to still work and the fan and ceiling light come on, however the shower itself is not coming on and neither are any of the lights on the actual shower unit. It's a redring model approx 5 years old. Any suggestions appreciated!

You're quite within your rights to check the shower unit out yourself if you are confident, but, with the possibly unusual way the circuit has been arranged, then I really would advise that you have a pro check it for you.
