Is the correct spelling for the phrase, piece du resistance?  I am referring to a saying you use when you are speaking of something special, the ultimate, ideal, the best of the bunch, etc.

It's "pice de resistance", with the accent on the first e of pi�ce and de where you had du.

There should also be an acute accent on the first "e" of "r�sistance":
