Is there a name for two phrases that, when put together, totally contradict each other?

Yep, it might be that... just wondered if there was another word for it.
The word is oxymoron.

Examples - clearly confused, larger half, plastic glass, and so on.
yes, but s/he was asking for phrases (which I interpreted to mean more than one word), not just juxtaposed words.

Yes, sorry, I meant two opposing phrases!
Antithesis might apply, as in "Too many cooks spoil the broth but many hands make light work."

I've looked antithesis up and it looks about as close as possible to what I need... thank you!
