Love of my heart...are u reading PEIG????
Question Author
No, it's from a song. What is PEIG?
Would it be a song by Enya? anyway Peig was the story of an old woman who lived on the Aran Islands and was used to teach irish to students in ireland during the 70's .... lets know if the song u said is by Enya...thanks.
Question Author
No, the song wasn't Enya, but an old Irish folk song.
I'm pretty sure it's from the traditional Irish song "Boys of the Old Brigade". If you type it in to Google, for example, there are several sites with the lyrics to choose from.
maxwellsmart - It was the Blaskets.  I think Peig single-handedly managed to put a whole generation of students off the Irish language for good.  It was mind-blowingly dull.
