If this happens again she needs to see a doctor. I don't think one event is anything to panic about though. Lack of iron, tiredness, stress, eating disorder? Many things are going through your mind at the moment being a loving parent. I hope everything is ok.

Not an expert BUT emotional situation is the commonest cause in a teenage girl.

Google .....vasovagal attack for more in depth reasons.

I know this sounds stupid but did she have enough water to drink?
Maybe get her to have a general check up at the docs just to make sure all is ok, blood count, blood sugar etc...

Was it her time of the month?

Could also be an idea to check if she is stressed about anything to struggling to sleep or eat or similar just in case there are any underlying issues.
oh, blood pressure too
you said she said she wasnt hungry and shes fainted... you didnt say what size she is... if she is a big girl is she trying to lose weight quickly? If she is a slim girl could she possibly be anorexic?
My sister was about 14 when she started experiencing low blood pressure. The cause is genetic as my father also had low blood pressure though not as low as hers.

She is now in her late 40s and has had to take care all her life. If she stands up suddenly she will faint.

On the bright side she will never have to worry about hypertension and is unlikely to have heart problems.
