a classic "trial by media" case. if he's innocent, it's a travesty and it must be horrific for him.

but the word "if" will always hang over him.. like anyone else in such a scenario.
Fair play to you, gina, you're consistent.

My mate's dog has got this rubber toy. You throw it and the dog catches it in its mouth. It bites down hard on it and won't let go, thrashing it around while you wait for it to get bored. The thing is, it never does. The toy doesn't squeak or move or do anything. But the dog is fixated with it. It never ever gets bored of it.

Dunno why I just thought of that.

as he is still a suspect he should not get any compensation until he has been cleared by the keystone cops................
Okay, okay, I'll contribute something.

I never actually followed the Maddy case, I just remember the flurry of activity on AB when this guy came under question. I do remember thinking at the time that the treatment he was getting was distasteful, but thought a little suspicion was justified.

However, he has clearly been decided as innocent (or perhaps just too little evidence) by the police and as such does deserve the compensation he's receiving. Though it does seem a little much - but it always does.
Murat is guilty, as simple as that. It is just there is no concrete proof.

Yes I have the greatest criminal mind since the fictional Sherlock Holmes, but when reorting to basic observational skills, you don't need to be supre sleuth to realise the facts.

1) He smokes
2) He has a gammy eye
3) He lives with his mother
4) He has a je ne sais quoi smile.

Guilty as Blackadder would say, as a puppy sitting next to a fresh pile of poo.

Hang him high.
A dog biting hard would probably salivate less.

collectively the so called papers are paying him 500,000, that is nothing compared to the sales they made running the stories.
the papers weigh up what a court case, costs , fines , damages etc could cost against likely sales.
I used to work for the mirror group, they dont have 24h lawyers on site for nothing.
youd be amazed at how many stories go through the llegal boys and girls before going to press.

they got off lightly in this case, money well spent from their point of view
If you look at the case everyone has made money out of Maddie's disappearance. Even the inital photograph of him came from someone. They would have been paid a fair few bob.

It's the way of the world these days. Look after number 1 and get as much as you can.
600,000 i think he was awarded
