Have you ever partaken in one?

I found a site where you can create any email address you want. I created [email protected] and sent an email to a friend saying that her car had been reported as no tax, no insurance and was therefore going to be crushed the following day. She was taken in by the email that she called her mum and cried over the phone. I felt bad for a moment, but it was very funny

I am the typical office practical joker.

I once changed my colleagues 'autocorrect' function to type Winnie-the-pooh every time she typed the word "the" and watched her face as it kept correcting it lol

I was typing from an audio tape one day from the Director and he had a bad cold, so once I'd typed the letter I used search n find to change every single 'n' to a 'd' so it read like someone with a cold - eg "Coudcil" instead of Council, he was amused eventually.
Wish i could do that at my work but we cant cos it aint b.....dy pc unbelievable!!!! good un weeal
My boss asked me for 3 letter trays for his desk one day, and I labelled them

"in"
"out"
"shake-it-all-about"
lol @ weeal!!
No wonder you are looking for a new job hee hee!
I just cant help myself tho, it kinda breaks the ice in a new place. Youve got to have a laugh at work or you'd go mad.

Only thing is, any time something daft happened, they'd roll their eyes and go "it mustve been wee al" lol
lol @ Weeal! Excellent! I did that once to my very nice boss, as she hated replying to mail. I replaced her "In" tray by the waste paper basket. She loved it!
laugh at work youre joking no i am being mean you can laugh at times, but cant argue, cant tell smutty jokes, cant do this cant do that arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!

I agree, wnything that makes works that little bit more bearable is worth it.

Another good'un is gluing handset to the phone, so when they pick up the whole phone goes flying! Or taking the ball out of the mouse, always works!
pretty much same as yours spaced, on the day a girl was leaving i mocked up one of the email notifications we get for speeding fines and went and gave it to her infront of the whole office, she was known for being a drama queen and it kept us entertained for a while!

Puddicat where the hell do you work? Parkhurst?

Sound like right boring place!

I think that yes there has to be a limit of "p1ssing aroundness", but if your staff are in high morale their work output is better. There is no point putting a ban on laughing.
I also had a very nice, but madly tidy colleague, who always had a place for everything on her desk. So one lunchtime, I changed her desk around completely, and put everything that was on the right on the left, and vice versa, including the mouse.....It took her forever to figure out what was wrong with it, funny enough!
spaced work in care in the community in services users house, we used to be able to do the lottery syndicate stopped, avon stopped, no selling say like you had something to sell stopped,so much more couldnt begin to say!
I'm LMAO at the auto correct, weeal!

Ever wanted to send an anonymous email or anonymous SMS Text messages to your friend that appears as if it came from the future? or maybe you just wanted to let a work colleague think he might be getting a promotion. Then you have come to the right place. Send anonymous email & SMS, you specify the "From :" field. Where they think the message is from is up to you

Its a free service, but at the bottom of the email in small writing it will say fake email, but they wont notice. You have to pay to have that removed.
Awww it's blocked!!!!

I'm really disappointed :(
we have sent some of the less mentally astute members of the team in search of skirting board ladders, buckets of steam and sky hooks unfortunately they found a solar powered torch in Ikea last week so that one has gone out the window.
