it's pie (pronounced with two syllables Pee-ay) Blessed Lord Jesu give (grant) them rest
Taken from Faur�'s Requiem, Pie Jesu Domine, dona eis requiem, requiem sempiternam - Merciful Lord Jesus, grant them rest, rest everlasting. A beautiful piece of music, although it holds very sad memories for me, as I had played at my baby son's funeral service.

Ignore thekraut - it does mean Merciful Lord Give, them rest. It's abeatiful verse and is found by several composers - Faure, Bach..etc.
