What doe's Umnipitent' mean?

I was watching an episode of Friends, and thay all say 'if i was Umnipitent (sp?) for a day, i would......
Can some one tell me what it means!!!????? I feel stupid for asking but i have no idea!!!

Omnipotent means literally all-powerful....with unlimited power. So, in this context it probably means "if I could do absolutely anything I want" or "if I could make anything I wanted happen......."
Hope that makes sense.

The reason it was funny in Friends is that Joey thought they were talking about being impotent, which means something totally different...

That is very funny, because I was watching that episode too and I didn't know what it meant, but now I do. I means being very powerful or having unlimited power.
