Can anyone tell me if they have heard of the expression "sod my rags".

My Dad had always said it as an expression of surprised or dismay, wondered if anyone else has, or knows where it comes from ?

sod is actually one of the rudest word available, but it seems to be used by older folk. teachers and people like that. sod means to "sodomise" (bum) and people often use the word ******. which also means to bum

I thought that..............mind you, I think I prefer that word to some of the ones you hear people using in everyday life these days.
