Quizmonster is real but better accessed online as it is a massive carnivorous beast 54ft high at the shoulder. Any ABers foolish enough to invite a quizmonster into their home can expect to have a major limb ripped off and ingested at the very least. Add to that its ability to project poisonous spines up to 50 yards, and its habit of turning passers by to stone and you will begin to see why locking it in a monastery with only an answerbank terminal for company was the sole choice.
Great question, great answer... but is it true incitatus???!
Yes it's true. I was Quizmonstered once, and lived to tell the tale (but my helmet's never been right since...)
Actually - despite Incitatus' and Darth's stirring words - I could more accurately be described as a little old man with too much time on his hands and too much "learnd lumber in his head" (Alexander Pope).

Oddly enough, A/B, there was a time when I was in a sense AskJeeves! In addition to its cretinous robot/computer answering-system, Jeeves had an element called AnswerPoint. There, just as here on AnswerBank, questions were posed and answered by 'real' people. The company decided to abandon half of its operation...sadly, however, the idiots closed down the 'people' and kept open the 'robot'! At that point, I had answered almost 9,000 questions, considerably more than anyone else. (One could keep track of his questions there>) Please note, I am not saying my answers were best or even good, only that they were most. Hence my claim that I "was" Jeeves. Now...how can I take over Google? That's the driving question.
