Not good reviews for the beer but has anyone had lunch there, and was it any good??

The food used to be good for a pub lunch... always packed because of the beautiful setting so get there early lol....
We used to go there for the beer festivals they had and of course, when the hippy craft fair was on lol... all those vegetarians and the Boaters used to put on their BBQ and cook meat meat meat hehe....
It isn't a gastro pub.....
