Well there used to be an advert many years ago when buying 'margarine' was still considered a little downmarket and they were trying to convince people to buy Stork, a brand of said margarine. So they used to test people by spreading it on a piece of bread to see if they could tell the difference between Stork and butter. Could it be some sort of trivia game about old TV ... or some sort of testing thing of some kind. Not much help but someone else might have an idea ...
Well, Stork was (maybe still is) margarine, and there was a long running advert with a well know quiz presenter (can't recall this name) asking people in (usually) a supermarket, could they tell which scone had Stork on it and which was real butter. But I'm afraid I still don't know what's in your christmas prezzie. Is the box like a ring (jewellery) box? Maybe you've got one of those giant 'diamond' ring like keyrings, or maybe it's a cubic zirconia or something. Sorry, I'm not being much help : )
maybe you should just wait untill christmas day and open it?
I think it's a buttercup!
Please let us know what it is
