Yesterday upon the stair
I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today
I wish that man would go away.

My last line goes
'how I wish he'd go away'
I was under the impression the poem was originally

I saw a man upon the stair
A little man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
Oh how I wish he'd go away

The whole poem was allegedly changed by a technician at roswel airbase and written on the toilet wall as graffiti

I saw a disc up in the air
A silver disc that wasn't there
It wasn't there again today
Oh how I wish it'd go away
