When looking on the internet at properties for lease in London, I see some described as a bedsit. What does that mean?

A bedsit is a room which is both bedroom and sitting room (living room). It also has shared bathroom and kitchen facilities.

Basically its one room and thats all.

In addition to what redcrx just said, it's an abbreviation of "Bedsitting Room"!

Nowadays to be posh it is called a "studio flat"
