ID - I believe to be Isadora Duncan. As I posted last month, she died tragically strangled by her scarf. A student in Edinburgh suffered almost the same fate on a rickshaw-type bicycle for courting couples.(?)


P - for Pisa. Ezra Pound wrote Cantos 74-84 there.


B. Could it be somewhere elephants are/were given the chance to paint?

Isabel Dalhousie - main character in "Sunday Philosophy Club" a novel set in Edinburgh. The platonic bit must refer to Plato - ancient Greek philosopher.
