I'm just glad we don't do Christmas any more! Hate it, especially when it starts in September. Wouldn't mind howcit used to be. Christmas shopping starting mid December, a two day break, cheap pressies and a lovely meal. Ooh and the salvation army playing in the street. Bah humbug.
I usually start at the end of September , Bednobs that’s a hard call , I’m pleased my grandson’s 17+ he’ll get money , he’s a great saver so he’ll put it to something he really wants
the little days and the big days are easy (when she was 3 she asked FC for a fake chicken and a toothbrush) However, the in between years years are hard as all i get is "i don't know"
A toddler with a tablet. I heard they are great babysitters. I like Xmas in December, hopefully this Xmas will be better than last year ( re covid) . Sadly like every Xmas this will be the first Xmas without a loved one. It’s the hardest one, I promise you .
My son at the age of 5 stood up in class when they were all asked what their favourite Christmas present and announced it was a padlock! A stocking filler costing 99p from Woolworths! Poor child! (He was obsessed with gadgets at that age). So much for expensive presents!!! Waste of money.
I can still remember my Christmas present when I was 5 Lofty ( you only got one)
It was a tin ‘park’ with tiny swings, slides and a witches hat , there was a mirror for an ice rink and tiny pink little dolly’s one of which had ice skates on :)
