Just 2 questions left!! I've got answers but am not totally positive about them. Any help please. Answers must begin with a Q, U, I or Z.

No 53. I was working on the fact that it might be the resort Walton-on-the Naze; Zena being an anagram of Naze!

No. 77. Universe/Immanuel and now you have an answer beginning with Z!! Any clues as to what this might be?

George Walton lived on Zaragoza Street and Goza is a resort - but your Zena sounds far more plausible. I'll keep checking this posting

suel After a week-end break, I think it's time to take stock!

I agree with ZENA for No 53 - and I am fairly happy with my answer to No 41 (although I have yet to find a definite link to all parts of the clue).

The rest of my answers look 100% "spot on" EXCEPT for Nos 77 and 80. These answers begin with the letters U and Z. Do you agree?

The answer I had for No 77 was ZEPPELIN, but I am now having doubts! For No 80, I can find two answers: One beginning with Z and the other with U .

How do you stand on these two clues?

77.Universe is still my favourite answer for this one.

80. My answer begins with a U.

I now have 100 answers; 25 beginning with Q, 25 beginning with U, 25 beginning with I and 25 beginning with Z !!

I'm hoping I've got them right!!

Suel It may be wise to try to locate where the mismatch appears? My answer to No 80 also starts with the letter U, yet I have a letter Z left over for No 77!

The first 50 answers look less controversial. They give me 13 Q's, 14 U's, 14 I's and 9 Z's. Do you agree so far?

My answers beginning with Q are 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 11, 16, 24, 28, 34, 35, 38, 43 and 48.

Our Is and Zs agree! Where could our mismatch be?

Over the next 25 answers (from Q51 to Q75) I have 7 Q's, only 3 U's, 7 I's and 8 Z's!

My Z answers are 53, 58, 59, 62, 63, 66, 67, 68, and 71.

Where do we differ?

Hi Suel I spent a little time last night sorting out my answers and spotted a wrong Q-Answer. For No 59, I had Quisling - who isn't even Russian!

As far as I am aware, there is one answer to get and that is No. 77 which should start with the letter U. The answer UNIVERSE looks promising, but I've yet to sort out precisely why this is so.

I promise to get back to you when I suss it out!

In the meantime, if you want to cross-check any of your answers you just need to ask!

Glad you managed to sort out your answers!

I still favour Universe as the answer to No. 77. I did origionally have Immanuel as the answer but it threw out all my 25s if you know what I mean.
