Today I noticed 2 hard lumps on my palm. I don't know how long they have been there. I had a look on google for info. Anyone had these and what was the outcome. ? Will go to the doctor on Tuesday.

If the lumps are near to your fingers (particularly those away from your thumb), it could be the early stages of Dupuytren's contracture

Otherwise ganglion cysts are a possibility:

Hi Chris beneath ring finger.
I have two ganglion cysts on my palm, came after I badly broke the wrist.

It's not Dupuytrens for me as after 21 years there has been no problems with the fingers themselves.
^^^ In which case, my first link above looks as if it might be relevant.

(Sqad will probably come along in a moment to complain that I'm posting rubbish but I doubt that either of us could give you a definitive answer anyway).
Or just calluses... is it the hand you use most? Does it feel like lumps in the skin?
Question Author
Yes really hard lumps size of a pea. Hand and fingers all fine.
On which hand? Do you do anything manual which might cause hardened skin?
Question Author
My right hand. No nothing out of the ordinary
It would be anything regular, rather than anything different... let's see what sqad says xx
I don't think that tamaris would value my opinion.
Why? What about people who search something very similar?
Question Author
I think they may be ganglions. Looking at the info I see online.

Update Chris. It was your first option as diagnosed by my doctor. I seem to remember my father had a middle finger like this.
