what is the politically correct term for pensioners? is OAP acceptable or is the nicer way to refer to them?

just remember what ever you call them we all end up one one day some sooner than others I think I like senior citizen.
How about Elders? Accurate, with just a hint of respect.
The official social services word is oldER persons. lol- its like there not really old- just older than everyone else on the planet.

calling them OAP's is rubbing it in a bit, I mean its saying the same thing three times.

Silver Tops
Since I qualified for a bus pass, I've had a go at rock climbing, kayaking, archery, shooting, gliding, camping and many other things, gone back to riding a high powered motorcycle and visited a large number of countries.  Yes, if 2shortplanks wants to call me a coffin dodger, I can live with it.

becease they are OLD.

and like to be a PENSIONER.
Who cares what is politically correct?
As long as you don't offend the person you are talking about it doesn't matter who else you may offend.
Older people learning to use the net don't generally mind being called silver surfers.
They also get called the grey vote in politics.
There are so many terms, some derogatory and to be avoided and others fine.
By the way I am not far from being old.
