Ian Brown you genius. Picture this, through a cloud of smoke Ian Brown lying back on a 70s style leather revolving seat, Ive got this idea for a banging tune ar kid. The start of every word in the song spells out fear!. Err yeah mate, now pass the spliff. Anyway this doped up concept has become one of my favourite songs of the year. With an amazing orchestration and a deeper meaning than just spelling out that weve got the fear, Mr. Brown expresses a more distinguished sound, and I personally cant help feeling that hes at the time of his life where hell release what he likes and not what he is told. im with you on being impressed by the idea of using FEAR throughout...im just not sure i understand what its all about!

For Everything A Reason................
I dont think the song has any hidden depth or meaning I think it just shows what a great songwriter Ian Brown is. Listing to some of the dross and complete and utter rubbish around (I was going to name a load of names but no point expect Coldplay!!) It makes me thankful for writers like Ian Brown who put so much effort in to writing something that needs you to listen and does not insult your intelligence.
Now what about a Stone Roses revival...............

Great idea - but he couldn't really make it work, could he? The constraints of the F.E.A.R gimmick means that the song is basically meaningless - so the fact you don't understand it is hardly surprising! Compare with the song 'Violets' by the true genius Momus which uses a similar acronym idea but to far greater and more successful effect.
Why would you call "For anything a reason" meaningless. It represents one of the pillars of today's reasonable thinking. I just don't get what the phrase "I've got the for anything a reason" means...perhaps fear is what Ian Brown actually refer to. And both of them must be perceived in combination. But I cant find it.
