What 11 letter wordcomes from the latin for
"before the creation of the world"

Also what adjective is from the latin for "leap walking" and can be used to describe the way some insects and spiders move.

I am tearing my hair out with these two , any clues very gratefully appreciated.

The first word is "antemundane" from 'ante' and 'mundus' meaning 'world'.

I'm working on the other one.

Thankyou - I had been working with 'creation' which explains why I was so completely stuck.
I am wondering about SALTATE for the other, but not convinced.
'Saltigrade' means progressing by leaps and can certainly be applied to some spiders.
Does saltigrade help
According to my Collins Dictionary......
(of animals) adapted for moving in a series of jumps.
From new Latin saltigradae .. name formerly applied to jumping spiders.
From latin saltus (leap) + gradi (to move or walk)

Thankyou folks.

Silly Moo,

You are certainly living up to your name.

Why don't you make an effort and look for the answers, they are very easy. It took me about a minute to find the answer to the creation of the world. Why bother doing postal quizzes, if you can't make an effort. You are spoiling the quizzes for other quizzers who have made the effort to get the answers.
