Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.

or

Highly organised and meticulous.

Meticulous definition: showing great attention to detail; very careful and precise... therefore is the first one repeating itself?

i like the first one. i think they mean different things. look up in an online dictionary to see how they differ and your impression after that. what are you up to? job application? x
not everyone knows exactly what meticulous means, though they know it sounds good; so I'd go for the first one just to make sure people know what I mean.

...saying that, what are you describing, a person? A book? An action? It might make a slight difference

Thanks. Updating CV. My initial thought was to go with the first one, then I thought about it - probably too much - and had doubts...
First one.
What about meticulist :)
That sounds too much like mentalist, IMO!

The first one sounds fine to me.

Highly organised with 'a' meticulous attention to detail?

Highly organised 'and a' meticulous attention to detail?
if it's a person you might say "pays" meticulous attention to detail.

But you could easily go with the second one; for purposes of a CV it should tell employers what they want to know.
Question Author
^ Forget the second one...
If you're not sure why don't you leave the word meticulous out and just put 'Highly organised with great attention to detail' Just a thought.
Question Author
Highly organised, paying meticulous attention to detail?

I need to stop thinking about it tonight.
if it's your cv....defo the first one. has a nice ring to it. and good luck with any endeavours ;o)

Where the feck is Mark Rae when you need him ;-p
I'd say "highly organised, and pays..."

(the comma because organised isn't the same as meticulous, so two separate thoughts)

I like your thinking jno and is what I was getting at to, but would you really say 'pays' as opposed to 'pay'? I think pay.
'Too' I've just been informed by the meticulous one... ;0)
depends whether he's writing in the first person or not, CD - I don't know the formats people use in their CVs. If it's "I am highly organised, and pay meticulous attention to detail", that's fine.
Question Author
''If it's "I am highly organised, and pay meticulous attention to detail", that's fine. ''

jno... I haven't used 'I' as it would become repetitive. To put this in to context here is the rest of the list:

Able to provide successful creative solutions for a variety of
different projects within a wide range of business sectors.

Experienced in all aspects of the design process, from initial
ideas through to completion.

Excellent working knowledge of digital artwork preparation
and current print processes.

The ability to work to tight deadlines, independantly or as
part of a team.

Highly organised, and pay meticulous attention to detail.

Strong typography skills
