Looking to call a company who state the number in europe begins +01 what do i dial from uk have tried 01 & 0001 help

The plus sign replaces the international dialling code for the country you are in. For the UK that is 00. So +01 would be 0001. I'm unsure which country is 01. Surprised any would start with a 0 to be honest; thought they started with 1 for USA. Are you sure you have it right ?

To dial the US from the UK you dial 00 1. This would be denoted as +1.
What are the next few digits and how is it written? Or just give the name of the company and maybe we can look it up for you.

The most likely answer to this is that the company is quoting only the national dialling code / phone number for calling it.
So as per the 1st answerer, you need to know what country it is in, look up the International Dialling Code for that country using the link Eddie gave you, delete the leading zero off the number so it then starts with the '1' then dial the whole lot.
As a clue, many countries still use '01' for their capital or largest city - as did London until we ran out of digits a few years ago.
