I know that people say that they have music on their IJ or internal jukebox, but is there a verb to describe the act of when when somebody else sings or plays a tune that stays in your head? Thanks!

annoying! I went to work like last week with "Amarillo" in my head and it stayed there all day. Doesn't help when you hear someone else going "sha la la la la" just as you forget for a moment
I read somewhere that if you get a tune stuck in your head you can get rid of it by humming the National Anthem. I think the theory is that it will dislodge the offender, but being such a dirge, it won't replace it.
I always have stuck in my head the last song I heard on the radio before switching it off and going out. It can last for hours!
