There seems to be a wide variation in quality of answers on this awesome site, some seem to be answers from professionals, with others not seeming to know the basics. Is there any way we can judge respondents according to a rating they have received?

that seems to be a great idea but there is one problem with it. There are alot of people who get thier answers and no matter how helpful the answer was they do not rate you. it sure would be nice to know if the time you spent replying to a post was helpful. one way around that would be to force a rating after your response has been viewed. this would also cut down on irrelavant responses because these responses will receive a bad rating and everyone will know.
Could we not have a rating system for questions to?
