Just heard a new song by Irish band The Script and remembered I hated them just because Leggy used to rave about them so much lol.

yes lots of times, I think they call it negative associations.

I dislike a lot of comedies because they use a lot of loud canned laughter (obviously telling us to laugh at those funny moments), the laughter is always over the top as the programme is never as funny.
Sadly that would be a good enough reason for me. I went away and came back and he was gone though, but is he? i cant believe he's not really on here.

The thing I find comical is how people refuse to give their children names of people they don't like.
i dislike all the twilight films because people rave too much about them. I'll probably catch one on tv one day and really like it.
I hate doctor who because of the hype.
Craft - I used to teach and there were loads of names I wouldn't consider giving to my children as they would remind me of the children I would rather forget.
Loads of films my ex raved about - I even refused to watch them when we were together, I should really have seen the signs that it wasn't meant to be ;)
Most of the people who work at the far end of our office (the Planning Dept). Need I say more?

It's true sherrard, when I had my daughter the OH suggested a name, and was totally bemused when I said "Yeuch no, I hated a girl at school called that"........
I hate it when people call Land Rovers 'Landys' - just because I don't like the person who I first heard use the term (even my husband has learnt not to call his Discovery a Landy - I just use 'the look' to make sure he doesn't even say the word).

Caravans. All the 'Howard & Hilda' stereotypes and getting stuck behind them on Cornish lanes.

The we bought a cheap one last year as a means to a cheap holiday. And you know, they're not bad. I mean, there are still the stereotypes, but they're easy enough to avoid.
He's tried - I've stopped that too (God, I sound like a right cow) - it's a car, just a car!

even to this day it makes my skin crawl.

thinking about it there's probably a whole chapter of things I could list just because my ex liked them!
