Does anyone enjoy swimming in their clothes & do you know any outdoor pool or pool that will allow this ???y

The weight and drag of the wet clothing would be likely to drown you.

So ... I'd generally avoid it.

Lardhelmet - Does that mean you don't like wearing clothes or just whilst swimming?

I can't swim in my 'bathing costume' so I doubt that I would manage when fully clothed.

Robcott - I hope you find somewhere to swim, it does look like fun (if you can swim).

I wouldn't exactly call it fun swimming while fully clothed, it's bloody hard work and good exercise though (and thinking about it is bringing back the memories/pain from doing the life saving courses)

I wouldn't enjoy swimming in my clothes, I'm not a strong swimmer and I think the clothes would be a hindrance. Plus having to take the wet clothes off to get dried and get dressed again would be so annoying.

I enjoy swimming in my clothes,but usually I have to find a lake,river,or the sea to do it.I do know that some holiday cottages have swimming pools and if you are left on your own,you could probably go for a fully clothed swim,but public pools usually don't allow fully clothed swimming for sanitary and health and safety reasons,unless you are doing survival swimming
