Hi yellow.

This is the latest in a series of 'somewhere' puzzles - no 8.

An example of the jumble is-
44a Crossing Corregidor we see hardy plant blooming (9)
In the clue are the letters DORWESEEH - anagram = Horseweed - hardy plant

21a Fine porcelain Palawan cherished (9) AWANCHERI = Chinawear

Good luckl
Another pointer to the theme.

You should get the second last letters in 43 & 45 a. Those letters are the end of a 11
word place which will lead you to the theme.

many thanks but 44a horseweed clashes with 24d specials using same principle!
So sorry Yellow

I meant to type Shoreweed!
