When I try to 'Sign In' to AB at home the tab for this wont activate, the only option I am given is to 'Register'.

When I try from my workplace terminal it's OK.

Any reasons why?

I can do every other IT task as normal at home.

I had exactly the same problem and found that my anti-spam program working in the back ground was the problem.  When I come to this site from home, I disable the program and the sign in works fine....

Thanks Clanad.

I am not sure what you mean by anti-spam software. I have a firewall and anti-virus protection, but I'd be loathe to disconnect those while surfing the net.

Interestingly, the workplace system does have some operation that filters out spam...and yet I can access Answerbank at work.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Long shot, perhaps your security settings on your browser are too high? Not that this should disable the tab, but if your system is refusing cookies from the site I'd imagine that this could cause sign in problems, and would definitely prevent the system "remembering" you when you revisit.
