It's easy to forget what a lovely coastline we have up here, it must have been the same for centuries, no promenades just rolling sand dunes and a rugged coast line dotted here and there with a castle and the sand a lovely soft gold colour, It is a shame we have the wrath of the mighty North Sea to remind us how it isn't warm up there, but if it was, it would spoil it's beauty.

I've been to Hastings..............did you know the HQ of the English Table Tennis Association is in Hastings.............not many people know that.
I didn't even know that there was an English Table Tennis Association.

With those light, plastic balls, you'd think they'd pick somewhere less windy, away from the coast.
Yes, it's not far from me, in London Road, St Leonards On Sea.
I love your part of the country Bobbi. We were up there for a week last autumn, staying in Belford. If I had to move away from lovely North Norfolk it would be to North Yorkshire or Northumberland.

I have left you a message on Woodelf's thread xx
Beautiful sunny spring day here today. The sun actually had some warmth in it!!
p.s. Isn't it good being 63 and not having to work, Bobbi? Well, I'm not actually 63 until next month. Just thinking how lovely it is to be able to make the most of good days and do what I like with them!!
