tamirra,
just pop along to a local toddler group. There will be mums nearer to your age too, and dads go to these groups too
Back in the days when I or my husband went along, there was a real mix of ages at toddler group - some older mums some young mums, loads of grannys/nans and a few dads and the occasional grandad - we moved around a lot, so probably went to 6 or 7 different ones over the years, just try a few local ones until you find one where you and the little ones feel comfortable.
Tamirra, I'll be a first time mum possibly this week and at 40 I think I will probably feel very out of place by the time my little one is a toddler. I know lots of women are having children much later in life, so perhaps I won't be the only oldie at Mother and Toddler groups.
